Types of Drywall Repairs
Cracks In The Sheetrock
Cracks can appear in your sheetrock for a variety of reasons, but they are most commonly caused by settling in the foundation. These cracks typically appear above the corners of doors and windows and are fairly small, though they can also appear in the middle of walls or ceilings. They are fairly simple to remedy, re-texture and paint.
Larger cracks may require a more involved drywall repair process, but can still be patched seamlessly and made almost invisible. This will require scraping, taping, floating, and texturing, topped by the matching paint
If your cracks are numerous or really large and you aren’t aware of their origin, you may want to contact a foundation expert to examine the home before making any repairs.

Water Damaged Sheetrock
Water damage is another typical type of drywall repair for us. Leaky plumbing, unsealed windows, or leaking air conditioners are the most common causes. The first step of course is to find the source of the leak and stop it.
If it was a particularly bad leak and the walls and studs are soaked, they may have to be exposed and allowed to dry before repairing (Closing up wet walls can lead to mold issues).
With the leak fixed, the damaged sheetrock can then be removed and replaced, followed by floating, texture, and painting.
Holes In Drywall
Holes in sheetrock walls come in all shapes and sizes, and they happen for a variety of reasons. We have heard every story, from wild kids to angry football fans. Furniture movers and homeowners falling through ceilings are also among the most popular reasons.
The drywall repair process involves cutting out the damaged section and replacing it with new sheetrock. The repair is then floated over and re-textured and painted to look like it never happened.

New Sheetrock Installation
In addition to drywall repair, we also can install new sheetrock. Whether you are building a new home or renovating an older one, we can help hang walls and ceilings.
Our installation services include all the necessary taping and floating, as well as spraying new texture and priming and painting.
